Charles Junior Wallace, 75, of Kenton passed away at his residence on Sunday, February 3, 2019. He was born on October 31, 1943 in Kenton to the late William and Theresa E. (Yohn) Wallace. He married Madalene Coyer and they divorced. He then married Lisa Porter and they also divorced. On May 21, 2009, Charles married Vickie Miller and she survives.

 

He is also survived by his children: Jeanie (Gary) Brill of West Mansfield, and Tracey Wallace and Chad (Kendra) Wallace, both of Kenton.

Near and dear to his heart was Bobbi (Kevin) Collins of Upper Sandusky; four brothers: Joe, Harry, Carroll, and John Wallace, all of Kenton; his mother-in-law, Patricia Miller; and six sisters-in-law: Dixie Wallace, Flo Ellis, Norma Coyer, Margarate (Kenneth) Frazier, Michelle (Dwayne) Holbrook, and Charlotte Adams and husband.

 

Mr. Wallace is also survived by three brothers-in-law: Alan, Ed, and Troy Miller and their wives; twelve grandchildren: Charles (Amber) Wallace, Luke (Cassidy) Brill, Sara Brill, Katie Johnson, Dalton Tackett, Kimberly Tackett, Christian Deyo, Shane Deyo, Damian Deyo, Fraya Wallace, Kamdyn Wallace, and Miyah Wallace; and nine great-grandchildren: Mykenzie Lance, Jakob Wallace, Kaselynn Deyo, Samara Deyo, Willow Deyo, Trey Henderson, Cora Deyo, Saiya Deyo, and Sebastian Deyo. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Mildred Robinson; brothers, William and Frederick Wallace; and sister, Martha Campbell.

 

Charles was a partner in Wallace Roofing for over 20 years. He was then employed by the City of Kenton until his retirement. Mr. Wallace loved his family, hunting, fishing, trapping, contesting horses, gardening, and playing cards, especially poker. He was also a lifetime member of the Eagles Lodge.

 

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 8, 2019 from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m.

at the SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Kenton. A funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME where the family will also receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Pastor Jeremy Geissinger will officiate and burial will follow in Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Charles to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Hospice of Marion.
