The #2 seed Lady Cats began tournament play Monday night with a 15-4 win over Degraff. Kenton then beat Zanesfield 7-2 on Tuesday night.
The cats lost to undefeated #1 seed Bellefontaine on Wednesday night 3-0. They then fought back to defeat Zanesfield 7-2 to earn a spot in the finals.
In game 1 Thursday night, Kenton defeated Bellefontaine 9-4.
The Cats had to beat them a second time to win the double elimination tournament, which they did by a score of 7-3.
It was a total team victory and effort. Kenton 2 12u ends their championship season with a 12-2 record.
