Kenton Boys Varsity Baseball beats North Union 9 – 7

Kenton Wildcats claim victory over North Union in 10 innings on Tuesday night.

In the back and forth game both offenses were strong at the plate, Kenton collecting 17 hits and North Union with 7 in high scoring affair.

Pitching in relief was Connor Defibaugh going 2.0 IP, 1 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 3 K and Kade Smith getting the win going 2.0 IP, 2 H, 2 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 5 K. The Wildcats pitchers struck out 17 batters on the night and walked 5.

The Wildcats tore up the bases tonight and broke the team stolen base record (78) stealing 9 bags and bringing their season total to 83 and counting. 

Kenton JV Red traveled to Spencerville and came away with a 10-0 victory in 6 innings
