The Kenton Wildcats lose to Celina despite out hitting the Bulldogs.
Celina got the scoring started by putting 2 runs up in both the 2nd and 3rd inning, making it 4-0. Kyle Thrush lead off the 4th inning with his fourth home run in the past 5 games, to put the Wildcats on the scoreboard. The score stayed 4-1 until the bottom of the 5th when the Bulldogs added 1 run and 2 more in the 6th. Kenton was able to push across a run in the 6th and 7th, but it wasn’t enough, ending the game with a 7-3 score.
Starting on the mound for Kenton was Dawson Miller going 2.2 IP, 5 H, 4 R, 2 ER, 5 BB, 1 K. Pitching in relief was Grady Kleman-Beazley going 3.1 IP, 3 H, 3 R, 2 ER, 5 BB, 1 K.
The Wildcats filled up the box score with hits but couldn’t break through, leaving 10 runners stranded. Leading the Wildcats at the plate were :

Anthony Hunt : 1 BB
The JV Wildcats also lost to Celina 0-14 on Friday night.
The Wildcats are off until Tuesday when they welcome 10th ranked Defiance to Kenton, JV will travel to Defiance both games at 5 PM.
