The Wildcats out hit the Bulldogs but fall short in the WBL match up Saturday afternoon.
Kenton fell behind 5-0 after 3 innings but fought back scoring one run in the 4th inning on a solo home run over the left field fence by Kyle Thrush. The Wildcats added 3 more runs in the 6th inning but the comeback fell short.
Pitching for Kenton was Kade Smith going 3.0 IP, 5 H, 5 R, 3 ER, 2 BB, 5 K’s and Dawson Miller going 3.0 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 2 K’s.
Hitting for the Wildcats were :
Eli Kauble : 2-2
Grady Kleman-Beazley : 2-4, 1 R
Kyle Thrush : 1-3, 1 HR, 1 R, 1 RBI
Luke Leffler : 1-3, 1 2B, 1 R, 1 RBI
MJ Coulson : 1-3, 1 2B
The Wildcats are back in action on Tuesday vs Bath, Varsity home at 5 PM, JV away at 5 PM.
