Kenton Boys Varsity Baseball falls to Lexington 7 – 3

The Wildcats season comes to a close, falling to Lexington 3-7 on Thursday night. 

Starting on the mound for the Wildcats was Kyle Thrush going, 3.0 IP, 5 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 2 BB, 3 K’s. Pitching in relief was Kade Smith going 3.0 IP, 3 H, 3 R, 1 ER, 3 BB, 2 K’s. 

The Wildcats out hit the Minutemen but couldn’t push enough runs across leaving 9 runners on base.
