Kenton Boys Varsity Baseball falls to Upper Sandusky 4 – 3

The Wildcats couldn’t overcome the early deficit to the Rams on Monday evening.

Upper Sandusky jumped out to the early lead in the top of the first inning to make it 1-0. The Wildcats answered back in the bottom half with an RBI Double by Kyle Thrush, which scored Anthony Hunt. The Rams answered with 2 in the top of the 2nd to go up 3-1. The Wildcats got it within 1 run muiltple times but just couldn’t get over the hump. 

Starting on the mound for the Cats was Kyle Thrush going the distance 7.0 IP, 5 H, 4 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 7 K’s.

Kenton JV lost to Upper Sandusky 5-12 on Monday.

Both Varsity and JV are back in action Tuesday vs Indian Lake, Varsity home 5 PM, JV away 5 PM.
