The Wildcats lose another heartbreaker via walk-off single by Van Wert.
Van Wert opened up the scoring taking a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the 3rd, but Kenton quickly answered in the top of the 4th. Grady Kleman-Beazley lead the inning off with a walk and then stole 2nd on the next pitch. Anthony Hunt moved Kleman-Beazley to 3rd on a ground out to the 1st baseman. Kyle Thrush then singled with a line drive to score Kleman-Beazley.
Going the distance on the mound tonight for the Wildcats was Kyle Thrush going 6.1 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 4 K’s.
Kenton could only manufacture 3 hits and 2 walks.
