The Kenton Wildcats fell behind after the 1st individual games 808 – 914. Kenton improved upon their score from the 1st game by 108 pins in the 2nd individual games but was only able to cut Shawnee’s lead down to 79 pins; 1726 – 1805.
Kenton did outroll Shawnee in the baker games 936 – 920 but that was not enough as the Wildcats fell to the Indians 2662 – 2725.
Trevor Roesner led the way for Kenton with a 390 series (188 – 202). Hudson Latimore followed with a 370 (180 – 190) and Eban Albert rolled a 366 (165 – 201).
The JV boys also had a tough battle with Shawnee. The Wildcats fell behind in each individual game 607 – 649 and 659 – 701 to trail by 84 pins. Kenton then chipped away at the Shawnee lead to get it down to 36 pins going into the final baker game. Even though they outrolled the Indians 126 – 102 in the last baker, Shawnee still won by 15 pins 1933 – 1948.
The boys are back in action Wednesday at TP Lanes to take on Riverside @ 4:00pm.
