In a triple header match, freshman, JV and Varsity squads all brought home victories from Wapak. Freshman won 26-24, 25-8 and JV won 25-20, 25-23. Varsity won in 3 sets, 25-23, 25-19 and 25-16.
History making milestone in the second set of varsity match, Morgan Lyons tallied her 1,000th career assist off a kill from Cailyn Hopkins.
Macee Heckathorn led offense with 13 kills, 8 receptions and 9 digs. Sadie Larrabee tallied 10 kills, 7 receptions and 10 digs. Cailyn Hopkins was good for 4 kills, 15 receptions and 11 digs. Morgan Lyons added 2 kills, 22 assists and 15 digs.
Strong net defense, Larrabee 6 blocks, Lyons 4 blocks, Sidney Payne 3 blocks, Heckathorn and Lucy Whitmer added 2 blocks each.
Rounding out scoring, Cailyn Hopkins had 12 pts, Lyons 11 pts, Brayla Butler 9 pts, Emori Criner added 7pts and Heckathorn had 5 pts .
Wildcats are 11-4 (3-2) on the season.
Kenton’s next match is Tuesday against St Mary’s at home .
