Kenton Girls 8th Grade Volleyball beats Van Wert in 2 sets

The Lady Wildcats jumped out to an early lead in set 1 with Brylee Bostelman serving the 1st 8 points en route to a 25-13 win.  Set 2 was much closer until Kylee Kavanagh went on a serving tear earning 16 of Kenton’s last 17 points as they won the 2nd set 25-7.

Kylee Kavanagh finished with 17 points and 7 aces.

Brylee Bostelman had 10 points on 7 aces.  She also added 3 assists and 3 kills.

Kaylee Barlow scored 5 points on 2 aces and had 2 kills.

Lindsey Winings had 2 aces for 2 points and 1 kill.

Geneva Norris also had 2 points on 2 aces.

Lyla Gammon had 1 point on an ace and added a kill.

Taryn Miller had 1 kill.

Kenton is back in action Saturday morning with Riverdale.  The match is at KMS at 10:00am
