Kenton Girls Varsity Softball beats Celina Senior 7 – 3

Brynn Butler was dominant in the circle, as she rang up 11 strike outs in the Wildcat Victory over the Celina Bulldogs.

The Wildcats opened with scoring one in the first on a double by Butler. The Bulldogs responded with tieing things up in the top of the 3rd. The Wildcats the scored 2 on an error in the bottom of the 3rd. The Bulldogs tied things up again in the top of the 6th.

The Wildcats responded undoubtedly with 4 runs in the bottom of the 6th to take the lead again. In this response Brayla Butler singled, scoring 1 run, Brailyn Thacker (2 hits) singled, scoring 1 run, and Macee Heckathorn homered to center field, scoring 2 runs. 

There were 10 hits in the game for the Wildcats Riley Totten also contributed 2 hits on the night as well as Emily Pees and Cailyn Brown with 1 hit each. The next WBL face-off will be on Monday when the Wildcats travel to Defiance.
