Kenton Girls Varsity Softball beats St. Marys Memorial 4 – 0

The Kenton Wildcats bested Memorial Roughriders 4-0. The Wildcats got on the board when Brynn Butler doubled and Brailyn Thacker singled each scoring 1 run. A single by Thacker extended the lead 4-0 in the top of the 3rd. 

Butler led things off in the circle and ended the night letting 4 hits, surrendering 0 runs over 7 innings and striking out 9. The wildcat defense was strong tonight with 0 errors. 

The Wildcats had 11 hits on the night. Thacker led the hitting going 2-3, with 3 RBI’s. Riley Totten went 3-4, Brayla Butler went 2-3, Brynn Butler went 2-4, Macee Heckathorn and CJ Newberry had 1 hit as well. 

The girls play again tomorrow against Shawnee.
