The Kenton Wildcats took on Waynesfield-Goshen this evening to win 13-9. The girls had 7 hits on the day with 2 home runs. CJ Newberry and Brynn Butler (3 hits) were the 2 to contribute the homers back to back in the top of the 5th. Alexis Ratliff had 2 hits as well as Brayla Butler with 1. There were 12 stolen bases in the game from many of the girls on the team.
Alexis Ratliff got the win on the mound with 4 hits and 4 runs (2 earned), striking out 7 and walking 6. The Wildcat defense only had 2 errors on the day. They play the next WBL game against Celina tomorrow at home.
