Kenton Girls Varsity Track finishes 3rd 

The Kenton Girls had several encouraging performances at Tuesday Night’s first home meet. The link to the results can be found here: KHS Home Meet Results

There were several performances on the girls side that stood out. 

• The girls’ 4×400 team comprised of Addy H, Delaney B, Leah H, and Quinlyn S had an amazing race and fought hard to get 1st place. 
• The girls’ 4×800 team comprised of Addi M, Delaney B, Leah H, and Quinlyn S took first place and is getting closer to the School Record that they set last year. 
• Delaney Buxton got to 9 feet in Pole Vault
• The girl’s throwers took 2nd-5th in Shot Put. 
• We had 3 girls get past 12 feet in Long Jump
