Kenton High School Baseball beats Bath 5 – 2 to Claim Sectional Title

Kenton Wildcats win Sectional Title with a 5-2 victory over the Bath Wildcats on Friday night.

Starting pitcher Jarron Willoby was the player of the game, taking a no hitter into the 7th inning. Willoby was the Winning pitcher with a final line of 6.2 IP, 2 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 7 BB, 10 K. Kyle Thrush came in and earned the Save getting the final out of the contest. 

Leading the Kenton Wildcats tonight at the plate was Grady Kleman-Beazley 2-4, 2 R, 2 SB. Other major contributors were :

Luke Leffler 1-2, 2 BB, 1 R

Kyle Thrush 1-4, 1 RBI

Connor Defibaugh 1-2, 2 BB, 1 RBI

Seth Leffler 1-4

Jarron Willoby 2 BB, 1 R

Tyson Hopkins 1-3, 1 RBI

Kenton will play their next game at Bluffton University on Thursday @ 5 PM vs Upper Sandusky (24-3) in the district semi-final.
