Kenton Shuts Out Wapak 2-0 in Boys Soccer Action

The Kenton boys soccer team defeated Wapak 2-0 on senior night to improve to 7-1-2 (3-0-1 WBL).

Kyle Kirk got things started in the first half with a goal off an assist to Asher Bridenstine.

In the 2nd half Asher Bridenstine headed home a corner from Nick Anderson late in the game. Brent Rader recorded 1 save for the cats’ 7th shutout on the season.

Kenton outshot Wapak 10-1and had 10 corners in the contest.

Kenton is back in action at St. Marys Thursday at 7pm

The Jv cats defeated Wapak 2-0 and moved to 7-1 (3-1 WBL).

Ethan Yoder assisted Joel Bowman for the first goal of 2nd half and Jayson Dyer assisted Troy Brown for the final tally. Devin Miller and Kyle Kirk combined for the shutout.

The JV are cats back in action Thursday at 5pm in St. Marys.
