The Cats welcomed Elida to Merold Field on Thursday evening and scrapped and clawed and came away with a 0-0 tie. An entertaining game where both teams had some nice chances saw both teams fail to produce a score. With the tie the Cats are now 3-1-2 and (1-0-1 WBL). Kenton outshot Elida 7-5 in the contest and Hayden Holland recorded 5 saves in goal for the Cats. This was a great team peformance and a great way to bounce back from the WBL opener against OG and against a veteran Elida squad. The JV Cats fell 1-0 with Ayson Scott and Josh Rich making 4 saves in goal. The Cats are back in action Tuesday at Bath.
