Marion Pleasant slips past Kenton 3-2 in Girls Tennis

Lilly Carmean moved her record to 2-0 by defeating Anya Miller 6-2, 6-1. Junior Presley Wilson won a tiebreaker at third singles against Bailey Leslie 4-6, 6-4, 10-7.  In second singles, Amanda Van Horn lost to Kaylie Klaiber 1-6, 1-6.

Kenton’s first doubles team of Lydia Lambert and Mia Vermillion lost 0-6, and 2-6 to Carly Peyton and Mary Aurigemma. McKenna Stanforth and Katie Lowe lost 3-6, 2-6 to Sarah Jordan and Keya Patel at second doubles. 

Kenton travels to Bluffton on Thursday, August 15th for a 4:30 pm match.
