Alonzo Allen 69 of Dola
Services for Alonzo Allen will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at the Price – McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton with Pastor Jim Gatchell officiating. Burial will follow in Dola Cemetery. Friends and family may visit from 4:00PM till 8:00PM on Tuesday, November 19, 2019.
He died on Friday, November 15, 2019 at St.Ritas Medical Center in Lima. He was born on November 12, 1950 in Fredville, KY to the late Jimmie and Dottie (Conley) Allen. On June 28, 1969 he married Sadie Castle and she survives in Dola.
Also surviving are 1 son; Michael Allen of Dola, 2 sisters; Shirley Mae (Rob) Scott and Pauline Allen both of Warsaw, IN. 2 brothers; Monroe (Paulie) Allen and Nero (Jeanie Prater) Allen both of Warsaw, IN. 1 Grandson; David Michael Allen. Numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 1 brother; Jimmy Allen and 2 sisters; Janic Allen and Stella Sue Moore.
In his freetime Alonzo enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Memorial donations may be made to the Quickstep Church in Alger.
