A celebration of life for Cathy Richardson will be held at a later date. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.

She died on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Marion General Hospital. She was born on February 26, 1956 in Plainwell, Michigan to the late Roger and Mornie (Patrick) Sparks. On October 16, 1979 she married Don Richardson and he survives in Kenton.

Also surviving are a daughter; Breann Johnson of Kenton, a son; Cody Richardson of Kenton, siblings; Kenny Sparks of Battle Creek, MI, Mike (Vicki) Sparks of Battle Creek, Debbie (Don) Bash of Arlington, Patty Hatfield of Decatur, MI, Randy (Katrina) Sparks of Marshall, MI, 2 grandchildren; Anissa Johnson, Tatum Finch, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister; Sheri Fitzpatrick.

Cathy retired from International Paper in Kenton after 31 years of employment.

She had a strong faith and attended the Abundant Life Assembly of God Church in Kenton.

Cathy enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Abundant Life Assembly of God Church or the donors choice.
