Connie R. Fletcher, 62, of Kenton, passed away at 1:17 a.m., Friday, June 7, 2019, at Lima Memorial Hospital. She was born on July 8, 1956, in Kenton to the late William W. and Dorotha Myers. She married James E. Fletcher on April 9, 1983, and he survives.
Connie is also survived by her daughter, Jamie Bohm; her son, Adam W. Fletcher; her sister, Donna Myers; her grandchildren: Kahlan E. and Penelope M. Bohm; her aunt, Rozella Myers; and numerous cousins.
Connie was a homemaker and professional seamstress, and had previously worked at the Dairy Freeze in Kenton. She was a member of the
Kenton/Hardin County Soroptomist International. She was involved with domestic Shelters over the years and was instrumental in starting one in Kenton. She was involved with Pawsitive Pals, and collecting coats, hats and winter clothing for children in need. Connie was a school volunteer for many years and was an advocate against human trafficking.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Monday, June 10, 2019, at Schindewolf-Stout-Crates Funeral Home, Kenton, where visitation will be held 2 hours prior (9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.) prior to the service. Rev.
Dr. Randall Forester officiating.
