David Delbert Inman, age 80, of Findlay passed away at the Bridge Hospice Care Center on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 surrounded by his family. He was born on September 9, 1938 to the late Edward and Louetta (Bristol) Inman. He married Rita L. Zender on August 23, 1958 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. He was a 1956 graduate of Findlay High School and retired as plant manager from Hercules Tire and Rubber Company following 25 years of service. He is survived by three daughters: Lisa (Roger) Bennett, Kelly (Ken) Westfall, and Kathy (Jeff) Waldrop; three grandchildren: Kacey (Aaron) Orwig, Bridgitte Waldrop, and Paige Waldrop; and a great-granddaughter, Hazel Orwig. Two sisters, Jean Simmons and Rosemary Gibbs, also preceded him in death. He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church and a 4th Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed golf and fishing trips with friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 617 West Main Cross Street, Findlay with Father Michael Zacharias officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm on Friday. The Rosary and Knights of Columbus services will be held at 7:30pm. Memorials can be made to the church or to a charity of the donor’s choice in his memory.
