Diana Sue Manley, age 71, of Ada, passed away peacefully in her sleep, with her dogs by her side on Monday, October 28, 2024 at her residence.
She was born on August 11, 1953 in Lima, Ohio to the late Harley A. and Elouise (Helser) Manley.
Diana is survived by her three children: Amy (Robert) Tucker, Angie (Scott) Barry, and Adam (fiancé, Allie Baker) Manley; four grandchildren: Brandi (Michael) Contini, Lauryn (Noah) Tenney, Scarlet Manley and Grace Manley; a brother, Dennis Manley; and two sisters: Nancy Tarr and Jean A. Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard “Dick” Manley.
Diana retired from Sodexo at Ohio Northern University, Ada, where she worked in the Grounds Department. She had a strong, vibrant spirit and personality. You always knew when she was in the room, and she always did her best to make that room happy. She loved to have fun and make people laugh, and if you ever invited her over to have dinner, she would always offer to do the dishes in return. She loved being around her people, and showing up for them any way she could. The world feels empty without her. She is loved more than she could know by so many. She will be missed more than words can say. She was a remarkable woman who overcame so much in her life, and now she is free!
It was her wish to be cremated. A celebration of life service will be held at the Ada Church of Christ on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at 1:00 PM. Please come and share stories and memories of her and let’s smile and laugh together in her honor.
