John William “Bill” Ralston, 79, of rural Kenton, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021.
Bill was born in Kenton on September 25, 1941, to the late John William and Jeanne (Axline) Ralston.
He married Barbara Beaman and they divorced. Bill then married Angie Clemons Gray on February 2, 1993, and she survives, along with daughter Rebekah Ralston of Toledo, son Brandon Ralston of AZ, stepsons DeWayne Gray of Dublin and Dale Gray of Marysville, and grandchildren Steven, Austin and Lucinda Gray. He is also survived by sisters Margaret Davis of WV, Marjorie Gilley of FL, and Charlene White of Lima. He was preceded in death by son J.W. Ralston, stepdaughter, Denise Gray, brother David Ralston and sister Marianna Elsasser.
Bill retired from Rockwell International after many years of service. He enjoyed swimming and was a certified SCUBA diver. Bill also held a pilot’s license and enjoyed flying small airplanes.
There will be no services held and arrangements have been entrusted to the SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Kenton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in memory of Bill to the Parkinson’s Foundation or a Charity of the Donor’s Choice.
