Karen Walton age 73 of Carey, died at her residence on Oct. 10, 2024. She was born in Waterloo, OH on Aug. 9, 1951 to the late Joseph F. and Mabel L. (Justice) Yates. She married Delbert E. Walton, they divorced and he preceded her in death.

Karen is survived by her sons, Daniel (Carolyn) Walton, David Walton, Dallas (Jamie) Walton, all of Carey, grandchildren Lang Walton, Savannah Walton, Christine Walton and Scarlett Walton, a brother Joseph (Jennifer) Yates of Findlay, sisters Kathy Ruhlen, Deborah (Dan) Pergram-Walter and Penny (Ed) Stephan, all of Carey.

Karen was a 1969 graduate of Carey High School. She had been a dispatcher for 19 years at the Carey Police Department and had worked 19 years in shipping and receiving department at AO Smith. She collected elephants, and enjoyed baking, sewing, and diamond painting. Karen loved cats, dogs and all animals.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30AM on Mon. Oct. 14, 2024 at the Bringman Clark Funeral Home with Pastor James Sharrett officiating. Interment will follow at Zion Bloom Cemetery, Vanlue. Visitation is from 1:00-4:00PM on Sun. Oct. 13. 2024 and an hour before the services at the funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Wyandot Memorial Hospice or Charity of the Donor’s Choice in care of Bringman Clark Funeral Home 226 E. Wyandot Ave. Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
