Kip Tallman 54

of Mt. Victory

There’s one philosophy Kip never wavered from, and that was Live, Laugh, and Love.

Kip Tallman passed away surrounded by love after a long battle of sobriety on June 24, 2024.

Right from the start this world wasn’t ready for Kip Tallman. Beating his own mother Barb Tallman to the hospital the day he was born in the back seat of her car. He always joked he was the fastest man alive because who else can make it to their birth before their mother. He came into this world ready to live and he did just that every day of his life. He lived hard. He loved hard.

Kip attended North Union High School, where he found the two loves of his life and countless forever friends. One love being Track and Field. He carried the love of the sport proudly and became one of the best coaches Northwest Ohio/Ridgemont Local School has ever seen. His other found love was his wife Kim (Marshall) Tallman. Married for 36 years, June 25, 2024.

Kip is survived by his 3 children, the most favorite being his daughter Kierston (Cameron) who carries on his sense of humor, then there’s the wild child Kolton, and then Kincade.

Followed by his grandchildren, Trystan, Kylie, Oaklynn, Oliver, and Arthur. He is also survived by his mother, Barbara (Wiley) Tallman, mothers-in-law, Judy Salyer and Beth Marshall, siblings, Tammy Pellington, Tony Williams, Cindee McComas, Pam Rice, and Tom Williams, in-laws, Jody Cullman, Karen Marshall, Renee Ercan, Amy Hartman, Lindsay Altizer, and Marc Marshall.

He was preceded in death by his father, Varon Tallman, fathers-in-law John Marshall and Leroy Salyer, brothers Kraig, Cole, and Kimm Tallman.

Kip was a great father and friend, but when it came to being a grandfather, he deserved gold medals. If you’re from the community or have spent any amount of time around, you already know Kip Tallman and the stories people have. You know he Loved his family, immediate, extended, adopted, or chosen. It didn’t matter, if you were in his life, you were his family and he loved you.

Kip could have lived a million years, and it would have been too soon.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, June 28, 2024, from 3: 00 P.M.to 7:00 P.M. at the Community Building in Mt. Victory.

Donations may be made to the family.

Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Mt. Victory is assisting the family with arrangements.

Online condolences may be expressed at pricefh.net.
