Obituary For Lawrence “Larry” J. Chappell Jr.

Graveside services for Lawrence “Larry” J. Chappell will be held at 11:00AM Friday, December 20, 2019 at Grove Cemetery in the committal building. Military services will be presented by Amvets Post 1994. The Price – McElroy Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

He died on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. He was born on April 24, 1946 in Bismarck, N.D. to the late Lawrence J. and Rosemary (Selby) Chappell. On September 11, 2010 he married Beverly Gillen and she survives in Kenton.

Also surviving are 3 daughters; Amanda D’Accardi of Magnolia, TX, Kelly Kusemamuriwo of Wadsworth, OH and Nikki (Scott) Danko of Meding, OH. 1 step-daughter; Vicky Fink of Kenton. 1 son; Bobby Chappell of Magnolia, TX. 1 sister; Agnus (Ronald) Deshaies of MA. 1 step-brother; John (Helen) Korrupt of CA. 10 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by 1 daughter; Krista Chappell and 2 Great Grandsons Hayden and Kayden Clingerman.

Larry was a US Army Veteran serving in Vietnam.

He was a member of the Kenton Eagles.

He enjoyed fishing, singing karaoke and spending time with his family.
