Services for Linda L. Hayter will be private. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Linda died on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Marion General Hospital. She was born on February 17, 1941 in Kenton to the late Clarence and Violet (Park) Brown. On December 30, 1970 she married Larry Hayter and he survives in Kenton.

Also surviving are 3 daughters; Deb (Luby) Lee, Julie (Stacy) Sexton, Dawn (Tony) Donegan, 3 sons; Keith (Thora) Hayter, Todd Hayter, Brett (Shelly) Hayter, 3 sisters; Sharon (Mick) Acheson, Patricia McClaren, Nancy (Garold) Lease, 14 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by brothers; Hallie Brown, Roland Brown, Clarence Brown, sisters; Ruth Imbody, Barbara Page, Mary Lou Thomas, Phyllis Patton, Betty Davis and a daughter-in-law; Deb Hayter.

Linda was a 1959 Kenton High School graduate. She worked for Baughmans Greenhouse and retired from Kmart in Kenton. 

She was a dedicated wife, a very loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Linda enjoyed spending time with family, going on walks, listening to country music and taking occasional trips to the casino.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be American Cancer Society.
