of Hillard formerly of Kenton

Private family services for Michael E. “Mike” Bushong will be held at a later date. The Price – McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Mike was born on December 7, 1955 in Hardin County to Richard E. and Martha (McKinley) Bushong and they survive.

Also surviving are 2 sons; Dwight J. “D.J.” Bushong of Kenton and Brent Bushong of Upper Sandusky. 2 sisters; Joyce Ann (Rick Quinn) Bushong of Dublin and Julie (Bryce) Oliver of Hillard.

Mike had 3 granddaughters; Kristyn and Kelsey Bushong of Kenton and Lexie Sue Bushong also of Kenton. 2 nephews; Nathan Oliver of Dublin and Preston Oliver of Columbus and a great niece Melina Alexandra Oliver of Dublin.

Mike had worked for Imperial Cup/Bondware in both Kenton and in California as a maintenance manger and retired from Anthony Thomas Candy as a maintenance technician in 2017.

He enjoyed going to car shows, driving his muscle cars and watching his favorite sports.

He graduated from Ridgemont High School in 1974. He was a member of the Shining Light Baptist Church in Hillard.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the donor’s choice.
