Obituary for Michael Francis Larrabee

Michael Francis Larrabee, 73 of Kenton passed away on Monday, October 21, 2019 at Lima Memorial Hospital. He was born in Bucyrus on April 1, 1946.

Mike married Rebecca Sherman on July 18, 1981 and she survives along with eight children; Michelle (Jimmy) Wall of Canajoharie, NY, Sandi (Brad) Haskell of Peabody, MA, Michael (Amanda) Carter of Amesbury, NH, Andrew Carter of Salem, MA, Mary Mathews of Sneads Ferry, NC, Jason (Amy) Carter of Lincoln, AZ, Luke (Shannon) Larrabee of Kenton and Jeremiah (Deanna) Larrabee of Kenton. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, sister, Diana (Mick) Ransom of Lychens, OH and his faithful companion, Eddie.  Mike was preceded in death by his sister, Ann Coates, grandparents, Richard (Nina) Stewart and father and mother-in-law, Justin

(Norma) Sherman. Mike worked at Morton Buildings for 40 years.  He enjoyed working on small engines, woodworking and riding motorcycles.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2019 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME.  A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 25, 2019 at the SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Mark Bishop officiating.
