Mildred M. “Millie” Parker, 104 of Kenton passed away on Tuesday, August 6,
2019 at Hardin Hills. She was born in Lima, Ohio on May 25, 1915 to the late Arthur and Jennie (Collins) Boyd. Millie married Lester C. Parker on July 2, 1933 and he preceded her in death on December 19, 1999. She is survived by two children: Alice (Louis) Downey and Jan Farkasdi, daughter-in-law Pat Parker. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. Millie was preceded in death by one grandson and 3 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Parker and son-in-law Jozsef Farkasdi.
Millie worked as a clerk for the Hardin County Probate Court, the
Municipal Court and the Common Pleas Court. She owned the Pizza Point with her husband and also worked for Kaylor & Kaylor Law office, Kaylor & McKinley Law Office, the Board of Elections, the Hardin County Auditor, Income Tax and Book Keeping Service where she retired in 1982.
A funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 9, 2019 at Schindewolf-Stout-Crates Funeral Home with Rev. Tomas Pistora officiating.
Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. Friday until the time of service. Memorial contributions can be made to the Trinity United Presbyterian Church. Online condolences can be expressed to the family by visiting www.stoutcrates.com.
