Patrick E. Mullady, age 91, of Kenton passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Vancrest of Ada. He was born on November 10, 1927, to the late Edward and Maxine Mullady. Pat married the love of his life, Betty Neely, in 1951. She preceded him in death on March 31, 2019.
Pat is survived by his son, Patrick Mullady of Kenton; daughters: Sue Wilcox of Kenton, and Laura Stern of Columbia City, IN; sisters: Jenny Moore of Indian Lake, and Marilyn Shirk of Kenton; a sister-in-law, Doris Mullady of Missouri; a brother-in-law, Bill Neely of Marysville; grandchildren: Amy Manns of Woodstock, GA, Craig Wilcox of Kenton, Shannon Black of Saluda, SC, William “Bill” Wingfield of Rossford, OH, Jerica Stern of Tennessee, Josey Seabolt of Indiana, Michelle Mione of Columbus, and Elizabeth Halla of Columbus; 15 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
Pat was preceded in death by his daughters: Cherryl Mione and Christie L. Mullady; brothers: Donald “Chub” Mullady and James Mullady; a sister, Barba Jones; brothers-in-law: Bill Moore, Russell Jones, and Harold Shirk; and a sister-in-law, Mocky Mullady.
Pat was a foreman at Rockwell for over 30 years. He served in the Army and National Guard for over 25 years. He was also the 4-H advisor for the Trail Blazers 4-H Club for 20 years, and he was a long-time member of the Immaculate Conception Church and the Elk’s Lodge #157.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am Monday, June 3rd at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Kenton. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 10:00-11:00am. Father Ferguson will be the celebrant and burial will follow in Grove Cemetery.
