She was raised in a Pentecostal church and enjoyed their praise and worship, their fellowship, and homecomings EVERY summer.  She dedicated her whole life to share the love of God with her children, her family, and anyone else she met. She was also active in both the Faith Baptist Bible Study and a Ladies’ Bible Study.  Pearlie was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Shirley Newland.  She was previously married to Michael Mullins, Grover Sparks, Martin Davies and James Goslee.  Surviving are four children: Candie LouAnn (Joe) Belanich of Dayton, Mistie Marie Sparks of Columbus, Scott (Loretta) Sparks of Beloit and Faith Elizabeth Sparks of Lima.
