Obituary for Phyllis Jeanne Vermillion

Phyllis Jeanne Vermillion, 79, of Belle Center passed away at Riverside Methodist Hospital on Thursday, May 13, 2021. She was born in Ada, Ohio on November 11, 1941 to the late Wayne and Anna (Elzay) Wright. She married Ronald Dean Vermillion on December 24, 1956 and he preceded her in death on July 30, 1998. She is survived by three daughters, Patricia (Earnest Holt) Heilman, Tamara (Daniel) Comstock and Kandace (Todd Stump) Hopson; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Helen Smith and Patricia Betz and four sisters-in-law, Janice Wright, Wanda Hamilton, Imogene Vermillion and Connie Vermillion. She was also preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Dean Vermillion; a granddaughter; 12 siblings and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
She was a member of Flat Branch Church of Christ, the VFW Post #6817 (Mt. Victory), the T.O.P.S. Club #1032 and the Eagles Post #2163.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, May 17, 2021 at SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Barry Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview McDonald Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00-5:00pm Sunday at the funeral home.
