There will be a celebration of life for Rose Mary Hale held at a later date. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Mt. Victory is assisting the family with arrangements.
She died on February 16, 2021 at Marion General Hospital. She was born on August 30, 1947 to the late Billy Ray King and Bernadine “Marg” (Reeder) King. She married Daniel Hale, and he survives in Mt. Victory. Also surviving are daughters Dawn (Gary White) Welsh of LaRue and Stephine (Timothy) Sherman of Findlay, sons Bradley (Kim) Fisher of Degraff and Steven (Amy) Fisher of Marion, sister Nancy Koepfer of Amsden, brothers Terry King of Amsden and Jerry King of Rising Sun, nine grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death was brother Arnold Ray King and granddaughter Alysha Murray.
Rose graduated from Lakota High School in 1966. She worked for AVI Food Systems as a cashier for many years.
Rose enjoyed painting ceramics, baking, making candies, crosswords, and sudoku puzzles. Rose collected Fenton Glass and Wizard Of OZ memorabilia. She also enjoyed traveling and loved animals, especially her puppies George and Amos.
