Obituary for Sharon Ruth Madison

Sharon Ruth Madison, 74 of Kenton passed away on Friday, November 22, 2019.  She was born in Dunkirk on August 30, 1945 to the late Earl and Thelma (DeVore) Madison.  Sharon is survived by her brothers; Robert (Chris) Madison of KY, Norman “Butch” (Phyllis) Madison of Kenton, Franklin “Mickey” (Valerie) Madison of Knoxville, TN, sisters; Christine Wentz and Helen (Curtis) Worthington both of Kenton.  She is also survived by her grandchildren; Sara Long, Cruz (Samantha) Compton, Nathan (Meaghan) Long, Blade Christie, Alec Keller, five great-grandchildren; Zyler Long, Kendal Compton, Madelyn Compton, Zeneth Long, Sophia Compton, son-in-law Kenneth Long and numerous nieces and nephews.  Sharon was preceded in death by her three daughters; Peggy Louise Long, Diane Keller and Ruthy Compton and brothers, Lowell, Carl, Gary, Richard and William Madison.

Sharon worked in Day Care for many years, working at The Corinthian, Hardin Hills and Green Acres.  A funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at the Schindewolf-Stout-Crates Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.  A private family burial will take place at a later date.
