Wanda M Clinger, 95, passed away on November 7, 2024 at Vancrest of Ada. She was born on May 23, 1929, to the late W. Irvin and Mabel L. (Smith) Nowlan. She first married Robert A. Hart and he preceded her in death on May 18, 1981. She later married Everett (Bill) Clinger in 1982 and he preceded her in death on July 30, 2021.
Wanda is survived by children, Cheryl A. Martin, of Westerville, Ohio, William S. (Barbara) Hart, of Washougal, WA, R. Eugene Hart, of Elk Grove, CA, two step-children, Debbie J. (Lee) Crook, of Ft. Worth, TX, and Hugh A. (Linda) Clinger, of Knoxville, TN.; two granddaughters; three great-grandsons; two great-granddaughters; many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Shirley A. Gillen, of Kenton, and Dianne L. Price, of Dola, OH. In addition to her parents and husbands, Wanda was preceded in death by her sister, Beverly K. (Morris) Rogers, of Kenton, OH.
She was a member of the First Christian Church; the Soroptimist Club, Ladies of the Moose, Kenton Elk’s Card Club, and Unit 19 HMH. She retired from the North Electric Kenton Plant and Rockwell International, Kenton.
Visitation for Wanda will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, from 11:00AM, until the time of her funeral service at 1:00PM at SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, 200 E Columbus St, Kenton, Ohio, 43326. Pastor Gregg King will officiate and burial will follow at Grove Cemetery, Kenton. Memorials can be directed to the Mary Lou Johnson/Hardin County Library or to the Soroptimist Club of Hardin County in her memory.
