Two area athletes have been nominated for the MaxPreps Ohio High School Athlete of the Week Award.
.Kenton’s Junior Quarterback Korbin Johnston completed 45-of-57 passes for 470 yards and four touchdowns and carried the ball 30 times for 208 yards and two touchdowns in a 38-34 win over Bath in week four action.
He connected with receiver Grady Kleman-Beazley as time expired for a 55-yard game-winning score.
.Upper Scioto Valley’s Alex Sanders accounted for seven touchdowns in a 50-0 win over Perry.
The senior carried the ball 15 times for 192 yards and five touchdowns s and completed 5-of-6 passes for 114 yards and two touchdowns.
He also had eight tackles, two tackles for loss, a sack and an interception on defense.
