Wildcats Rally Past Rams 52-48

The Kenton Wildcats rallied from a double-digit deficit to defeat Upper Scioto Valley 52-48 in boys basketball action Saturday at Alumni Fieldhouse.

The Rams (2-2) led 16-4 after one quarter and 22-12 at the half. The Wildcats (2-2) scored the first five points of the third quarter to narrow the gap, and the game remained nip-and-tuck the rest of the way before the Cats posted the victory.

Jayden Cornell scored 17 points to lead Kenton while Jacob Eversole added 13 points and Bryce Ellis had 11 markers.

USV got 17 points from Quinn Sanders while Evan Thompson and Connor Sanders scored 12 points each.

Blaine Huston was named the Ace Hardware Player of the Game from Kenton.
