Wildcats survive tough game with Columbian

The Kenton Wildcats hold on and survive a tough game against a good Columbian team 42-34. The Cats hit free throws down the stretch to get the win. The Cats were led in scoring by Macee Heckathorn with 13 points. Sidney Payne scored 12 points. Sadie Larrabee had 7 points while Kyla Bostater had 5 points. Brylee Bostelman scored 3 and Liv Nolting had 2 points. Kenton made 7 of 9 free throws in the last 1:14. The Tornados were led by Abbie Felske with 12 points and Mia Zeis with 9 points. The Lady Wildcats move to 10-2 on the season and will play Celina at home in WBL action on Thursday. 

The JV game was won by Kenton 34-19. The Cats were led by Kaiden Gammon with 12 points. Lyla Gammon and Lilly Carmean each had 5 points. Jazlynn Long scored 4 points while Aalyson Rhinehart and Taylor Barlow each had 3 points. Taryn Miller rounded out the scoring with 2 points.
