The 2020 Hardin County Fair opens today, but of course it will look different.
Gone are the rides, displays, games and entertainment, but Junior Fair activities will take place this week.
The Fair board recently announced a partnership with Walton Webcasting to bring “Livestock Like You’ve Never Seen Before” from the Hardin County Fair to the world wide web.
The funding for this project is being provided by the CARES act through the Hardin County Commissioner’s Office.
All livestock shows will be streamed free of charge at http://waltonwebcasting.com
The Junior Fair King & Queen Contest and Junior Fair Livestock Sale will be streamed live on the Hardin County Fair Facebook page.
The students vying for King and Queen are:
From Ada: Alyssa Wince and Ian Dellifield.
From Hardin Northern: Maddie Grappy and Lance Good.
From Kenton: Lenore Kohl and Carter Bays
From Ridgemont: Alli Underwood and Collin Wallace
The Riverdale candidate is Mia Benitez
From Upper Scioto Valley: Allison Moore and Collin Dyer.
The ceremony will start at 7 this (Tuesday) evening.
