The Memorial Day parade in Kenton has been cancelled for this year.
Steve Gossard, the Executive Director of the Hardin County Veteran Services Office, said due to the directive from Ohio Health Director Dr. Amy Acton, which limits public gatherings to no more than 10 people, the parade could not take place this year.
Gossard said they are holding a private ceremony at three different areas at Grove Cemetery on Memorial Day.
State Representative Jon Cross will be making a presentation for a fallen soldier.
That ceremony is scheduled to start at 11 Monday morning.
