2023 Ada Distinguished Citizen of the Year Announced

The Ada Town & Gown Committee is pleased to announce Mr. David Lusk as the 2023 Distinguished Citizen of the Year.

The surprise announcement was made Friday, February 2nd in the Ada High School cafeteria, with faculty, staff, and all junior and senior high school students present.
Known and appreciated for being a passionate educator, Mr. Lusk retired after 43 years of teaching chemistry and physics.

Mr. Lusk regularly volunteers his time to Ada Schools, Ohio Northern University, the Ada Public Library, and the Ada faith community, making him the perfect recipient of this award.

Mr. Lusk will be honored during the 1st Annual Ada Awards Nights on February 29, 2024 at Liberty Oaks.
