2178 New Cases of COVID-19 in Ohio; 40 Active Cases in Hardin County

There were 165,627 confirmed and 10,216 probable for a total of 175,843 cases of COVID-19 in Ohio as of Thursday afternoon.

That is 2178 new cases in one day.

The total number of hospitalizations is 16,824.

3507 of them in intensive care units.

5038 deaths have been reported since the pandemic began.

There are 323 confirmed cases in Hardin County.

The Kenton-Hardin Health Department reported 40 active cases, 4 hospitalizations and 13 deaths.

270 recovered cases have been reported.

Around the region:

Marion County has 3289 cases, Allen County 1871, Hancock County has 919 cases, Auglaize County has 856, Union County has 693 cases, Logan County 369 and Wyandot County has 270 cases.
