$228,800 Awarded to Seniors at KHS Senior Awards Day Tuesday

It was a big day for Seniors at Kenton High School on Tuesday.

School Counselor Amy Kohl reported that a total of $228,800 dollars was awarded during the Senior Awards Day Ceremony.

35 students applied for Dollars for Scholarships, 40 students applied for Local Scholarships/The Kenton Excellence for Education Scholarships, 37 students applied for the R.E. & Joan Allen Scholarships, 

.R.E. & Joan Allen Foundation Scholarships- $60,000 given to 37 seniors. 

.Local Scholarships total including scholarships with separate applications- $42,950 given to seniors. 

.Dollars for Scholarships- $15,900.00 given to 31 seniors.

.Kenton Excellence for Education Foundation- $109,950.00 given to 40 seniors.
