The Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office released details on a crash between two semis that occurred this past Tuesday on U.S. 30.
According to the report, a semi being operated by 60 year old David Smith, of Puerto Rico, was slowing down in the eastbound lane to make a right turn onto Township Road 103. As it was in mid-turn, it was struck on the passenger side by an eastbound semi being operated by 67 year old Gordan Edgerton, of Tennessee.
Disabling damage occurred to both vehicles, and the drivers were transported to Wyandot Memorial Hospital.
Edgerton was cited for an assured clear distance ahead violation.
