One person was arrested and drugs were confiscated at a house in Alger Monday.
According to a release from Hardin County Sheriff Keith Everhart, the Hardin County Crime Task Force along with the Hardin County Special response Team, executed a search warrant at 101 North McConnell Street in Alger.
As a result, over five pounds of marijuana, psychedelic mushroom, methamphetamine and pills were recovered.
A vehicle, illegal firearms and over $17,000 in cash were seized from the residence.
One male, identified by the records office at Multi County Correctional Center as Cann Phipps II, was arrested and transported to the facility in Marion on drug possession charges.
The Task Force was assisted at the scene by Osborn’s Towing, Alger Fire and EMS, Allen County Bomb Squad, the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tabacco and Firearms, the Hardin County VIPS, Hardin County Prosecutor’s Office and the Ohio Department of Transportation.
More charges are pending as the investigation continues.
