The mayors of Kenton and Forest declared a State of Emergency Tuesday.
The purpose of the declaration is to protect the health, safety and property of residents, as well as to preserve the peace and order and continue the functions of local government with minimal interruption in light of the State at Home order issued by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The declarations were made by Kenton Mayor Lynn Webb and Forest Mayor Dean Hankins for their respective towns.
