Red Cross Urging Blood Donations in Light of Cancelled Blood Drives

The coronavirus pandemic, according to Rodney Wilson, American Red Cross Communications Manager, Blood Services, is leading to the cancellation of blood drives around the country.

 

More than 350,000 blood donations across the country have cancelled since the beginning of the pandemic in March.

 

Wilson said there are still blood drives scheduled, but that could change at any time. He said for the latest information on where you can donate blood, visit http://redcrossblood.org
